About SpecialLink

SpecialLink supports parents in Pakistan who are raising children with special needs. The site brings together resources by condition, a directory of organisations and services, funding and rights information, and a parent discussion space.

It is not a substitute for medical or clinical advice—it helps families find and use existing support. The project was developed collaboratively by the team below.

Team

  • Sarosh Fatima

    Sarosh holds a double Master's degree in International Social and Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Fudan University. Her work focuses on advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly reducing inequalities in education and healthcare. She is deeply committed to community service, advocacy, and fostering dialogue across diverse communities.

  • Najmus Saqib

    Full-Stack MERN Developer with hands-on experience building scalable, production-level web applications using React, Next.js, Node.js, and MongoDB. I build responsive user interfaces, robust APIs, and real-time systems, with a strong focus on performance, accessibility, and practical problem-solving.

  • Namrah Farooq

    Namrah is a pharmacist with clinical and public health experience. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Karachi and is preparing to pursue a Master's in Public Health Policy. Passionate about advancing women's reproductive and maternal health, she is also engaged in community service and public health initiatives.

  • Kinza Latif

    Kinza is pursuing a BS in Chemistry at University of Central Punjab, Lahore. She is passionate about environmental sustainability, human rights, and community service initiatives that create meaningful social impact.

  • Minahil Fatimah

    Minahil is an Applied Psychology graduate from Foundation University Islamabad with interests in behavioral psychology, emotional regulation, and evidence-based interventions. She has clinical and research experience focused on well-being and behavioral support.

  • Esha Awan

    Esha is a Career Counselor and Operations Coordinator supporting students in academic and career development. She is also a mental health advocate and contributor to education-focused community initiatives.

  • Khadijah Fasih

    Khadijah is a Political Science student driven by empathy, dialogue, and community impact. She is passionate about creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported.
